Miracles - II

The feelings that came to an end like a month ago was not going to rise again, I knew that for sure. I was ready to walk again in some new path. I now was fully convinced that social networking site couldn’t decide my fate. Hiding behind a virtual application and making a conversation that is some shit and couldn’t be implemented in life. I know people get close through these things too, but I had to make my heart believe that you wasted your time on things that were never meant to happen.
The lost soul and the miserable body finally had a spark and a smile on the face as I looked forward to a short trip to Pokhara. The deep miseries buried inside the hearts had to go someday. I was letting them go through this trip so that they never come back again.
Liquor was never an option for me; I never needed an alcohol to divert my mind away for some sort of relief. The more you think about this trip, the more excited you were. But I never knew this trip would mean so much to me as it would completely change my life. A small event can change a people’s life. You open a door and come outside, the whole world changes in a matter of seconds.
The day came finally; it was worth a wait as the good things become best after testing our patience. The excitement flows through my veins and when I saw the sparking faces of my friends, it doubled by itself. The charm that was lost for a long time came back eventually. I wonder what would it take for this feeling to freeze inside me and remain there forever but its amalgamation of sad and happy moments; and happy moments only makes your life monotonous.
The journey of seven hours started when we reached our college premises. The trip started with us enjoying our time singing, chatting and increasing our level of craziness. The lunch we had was terrible and we fulfilled our tummy’s wishes by filling it with some snacks. We were so much happy that we didn’t blink an eye, even though we were tired. The journey ended when we reached our destination. We were guided to our respective hotels then to rest and to end that day’s program.
The inner heart didn’t let us sleep; we had finally become an insomniac: we can blame the excitement or freedom we finally achieved from our family for a couple of days or maybe you were not living as a captive inside your family rules. “Life is short, break the rules” , everything was messed up inside our mind.
I along with my two crazy friends decided to visit Phewa lake, (we had already been here before, so we knew all about Pokhara) which was five minutes’ walk from our hotel. The evening with that cold wind welcomed us to the city. The lake was looking beautiful, of course the sparkling light of the moon helped to make it even more beautiful.
The boating session was supposed to end at 5 o’ clock in the evening and it was already half past six, but we saw a couple in a boat. WE thought maybe they were granted a special permission, or maybe they bribed the ticket handler.
We giggled for a moment talking about them but to a greater surprise, the boy there proposed the lady in boat in the middle of nowhere. We thought that was romantic but it can be like, compelling the girl to accept the proposal as she can’t go anywhere rejecting it as they were literally in the middle of nowhere. They ended with a warm kiss that meant they were engaged.
The evening’s scenario made our day; we were the live spectators of a proposal ceremony like in the movie. We had to return to our hotels now as the cross check may happen anytime. We came back like the happy souls and rested as we couldn’t drag the tired body anymore which led us to doze off in a couple of minutes.

The rays of the sun and the glimpse of the beautiful city took our sleep away and filled us with energy to officially start our trip in the city.
